Credits and Usage

Credits and Usage

Probapedia uses a credit system to meter analytical usage. Credits are consumed when you submit a prompt or upload a chart for extraction.

Subscription vs. Top-up Credits

We separate your credit balance into two buckets:

  1. Subscription Credits: These are included with your monthly plan. They reset to their maximum on your billing anniversary date. Unused subscription credits do not roll over to the next month.
  2. Top-up Credits: These are purchased as one-time packs. Top-up credits never expire and are consumed only after your subscription credits for the current month have been exhausted.

Text vs. Vision Usage

  • Text Credits are consumed when you submit text prompts or receive text-based analytical answers.
  • Vision Credits are consumed when you upload an image (such as a chart) for the engine to extract data from.

Vision extraction requires a fixed amount of processing power. Once the chart facts are extracted, the resulting text analysis is metered at the standard engine rate.

Daily Usage Limits

To ensure service stability and prevent abuse, every plan has a daily maximum cap for text and vision usage.

  • If you reach your daily limit, the engine will pause until the next day.
  • If you require additional capacity for a single day, you can purchase a Day Pass from the Pricing page. A Day Pass adds a fixed amount of text and vision capacity to your current day's limit.

Credit Consumption

The exact number of credits consumed per request depends on the length of your prompt, the length of the generated answer, and the analytical engine you select.

You can view your real-time credit balance and daily usage at any time on the Account page.
